Socceroost, a high school football team founded by a group of football enthusiasts. The name Socceroost, particularly inspired by Australia national football squad’s nickname - Socceroos. It is believe that, Socceroost came out with her name after watching the superior spirit showed by the Australia national squad to qualify themselves to the World Cup Finals 2006. Ironically, the team progress had been calamitous, squandering the golden moments to lift the sole silverware within the region in a final and the only one big tournament. Albeit the team might have failed in winning any silverware, but the team managed to secure the most precious prize that might never exist in any grand tournament – FRIENDSHIP. Socceroost have congregate 17 different backgrounds friends, together, playing the sport they love to do, and shall never be forgotten – LONG LIVE SOCCEROOST
