All of a sudden, I’m not that optimistic any longer about my future tertiary studies… Initially, he asked me to think properly and carefully about my tertiary studies. When things were just going in the smooth direction, all the so-called-carefully-drafted plan collapsed. I feel like being implemented a chip inside my brain. I just can’t fight back, nor fight down, I can’t defend my own ideas… I already made up my mind, now you want me to change my mind? Why don’t you just do that at the first place? The perception you made isn’t totally wrong, just that I feel like being controlled now… Is it what you said is true? If so, I respect your idea and shall just obey your plan. I really hope what you said is genuine. Can someone enlighten me?

……….
y ur plan suddenly change?
think properly before u decide!!!!!
My old man says, he don’t want me to study for DIPLOMA and he will not going to afford the fees for DIPLOMA… I argued with him telling him this is business, not about qualifications, in the biz world, what matters is EXPERIENCE. He went on showing me the job section in the newspaper and said generally diploma nowadays are very common, okay I can agree with that. But in biz world, does qualification really matters? Ain’t experience is what it takes? He even said college is meant for students who can’t possess good results, which is something I disagree. All he wants is I go for a university DEGREE. And I said, what about UTAR? He just insists me go for STPM… Asking me to complete the STPM route to see if I can enter local university. And should I failed only enter private university…
haiz…..
y dun u tell him stpm is very very hard?
if u cant get pass in stpm, u will waste ur time there…
n tis oso waste ur money
I think so hard after the quarrel that night. If it wasn’t the quarrel, I don’t know that my parents don’t mind if I waste my time on STPM, time-consuming is not a matter for them. I guess they count on me to land a place in local university which will lighten their burden. Since they have firm faith in me, I shall take up the challenge. I believe if I choose any other routes like going for diploma, it’d also be a challege to me. Besides, I’m really unsure what I want to study after all although I keep mentioning accounting is my likely course. Then, by all means, somehow I feel STPM would be more favourable.
At first, it was really hard for me. Cause I feel like more being controlled by them. In the end it turns out not really what I think of. Maybe I’m still too naive, too young to realize the world out there… Aiks, why am I talking bullcrap lol :p Let’s just hope I’ve made a correct decision, again lol.
haiz….
making a decision very hard….
hope u made a good decision that can reli help u…..
hey bro like i said b4 stand up & speak up 4 urself…im sure u dun wan 2 go bak 2 high sch & pursue stpm bcoz if u do ur gona miss da oportunity 2 enjoy college life…bsides u & me know our destiny lies at tar college…imagine we both dominate da football club ther & flirt wit all da chicks hehe…not 2 mention da diploma fees is bloody cheap at tarc so ur dad should not giv any xcuse dat he kanot afford da fees…i suggest u tell him clearly wat u wan & ask ur mum 2 support u den it wil b a 2 vs 1 situation adi…remember ur dad can advise u oni but he kanot force u
At first, it was my dad’s intention, but now, it’s my decision, to pursue STPM, with reasons backing me up. Sorry to disappoint you, but I’ll still play football with you. Don’t perish the thought that I’m not coming to TARC so soon.
ayo kk la if dats wat u reli wan…when i tink bout sptm its like wearin those tight sch uniform again, keep ur hair short, sing negaraku on mondays & all kinds of dumb rules u hav 2 folow again lol…sure ar no turnin bak u know if u dun folow me dat means i wil b da oni football star at tarc & all da chicks wil b mine muahaha!!!
Choose wisely. Choose the one you like. Or else u will not b intrested in what u have choose. If ur ambition if do really related wid buisness then what for u go to stpm? If ur stpm result is bad then u muz back to the beginning point, to a college.Okay, as what i said last time, if even u get a good result in stpm but u not 100% can enter what u wish to. mayb not even 30%. If you choose to get a course that is quite popular, you have to fight wid some other races. the minister will let them get it eventought ur result is better. they will arrange u to get that course if there’s some place left. this is my opinion for stpm. I ofcoz support you to go to tarc but since u’ve choose ur way i juz wish that u din choose wrongly.
PS: please dun laugh on my poor eng. lolz
@Marc: TRUE! I was so bonehead to follow all the arsehole school rules during my last stint in high school! But now, I won’t be that bonehead again, cos rules are meant to be break. I’m going back to be famous this time! hey, read on, dont vanish the thinking that im not coming to tarc.
@Wallace: Sorry to disappoint u, but honestly, i still donno what is my ambition till now. It may be business, but i don feel like i am cut out of it, so i decided to try to see if i am favourable of accounting since form 6 i can choose to study accounting. if i think i can manage it and it all goes well, i might consider coming back to tarc to study for dip. in commerce. time-consuming? not actually, 1.5 years not too long nor too short. who knows i’ll score good results in the end and manage to land a place in local univeristy, that’s what my parents dreamt of, also it’d definetly lighten their burden, considering i still have a bro n sis following up. should i fail, my parents wont mind, cos they just dont want me to make a decision so soon that might prove wrong in the end for me. dont get me wrong, i am not being spoon-feeding, it’s my own decision now. they r just advisor leading me to came out with this point.
hmm. before enter TARC, my sis been to stpm oso. but after few weeks she quit and join TARC may intake. so actually you can register for TARC in May so that you can compare which is better. but what you need to worry is in TARC, your course might full. But ofcoz, just a few weeks you cant find the which is better x.x
If you’re worrying about money then why don’t you borrow PTPTN ?
when u’r working you can return for it.
U are not getting my point… at tarc, once i am in it, I AM IN IT… i dont have the flexibility to change course(if i do, i’ll be wasting money and time). i donno what i’d like to study now u know? let’s take an example, i am interested in the biz world, but i donno whether i am favourable of it or not since i am unsure what to study as well, so during my form 6 stint, i’d choose accounting as my subject, i get to expose in-depth into accounting. besides, i’d choose econs as my study subject also, in this way, not only i am exposed to accounting, but econs as well! which in the end will potray as the foundation if i really plan to go into biz field. in a way, i dont have to take the wrong road if i go to college upright.
yeah, form 6 might sound tough, but i believe if i choose the other pathways it’d also be an uphill task, nothing comes easy in this world. so just my piece of advice, to anyone of u, albeit you manage to get into tarc, dont get overjoyed, extra effort still needed very much. often, one may enjoy the college life so much that ends up being kick-out by the college. you dont want to influenced by peers easily until the money used on entertainment and leisure exceed your limitation. dont ya? you dont want be a drop-out, take your study seriously.
Yoyo~!
My modem broke down…sorry for late to giv some comment…
hehe.As u know, i now study form6…
Its not tat hard to score well in STPM for those really study hard de ppl..
But i shd tell u that, i feel that u r not goin to score well in it..Haha…if u r aiming to enter local U, pls dun dream larr…haha,jk…
Anyway,u shd check to see wat minimum marks to enter local university for ur course first so that u could aim well later.
Well, for me, stpm is really damn bullshit easy onli IF I REALLY STUDY HARD N BEING LIKE A NERD. However, I am not. Haha, but i can study smart and score well too…i blif i can..haha.even if not 4.0, i think i can get 3.9X de…hehez…;)
Well, after all that nonsence, if u cannot score well, u may choose to enter college after all.If ur result consider as ‘not bad’, u can skip A-level!its not wasting time actually…N,college life doesnt really that good larr, after ur stpm…when u get into university…stil can lead ‘that stylish life’ like others….And, actually when Form 6..also can kaolui+kaplui juz like others college guy..
Shorty, STPM is the same as SPM where u r free to choose watever path u 1 2 go…
RMB!choose a path that u will not get urself into regret…
Good Luck..
cu…^^
Thank you for the advice and the cold water. i treat stpm as my foundation studies for business(or whatever field since it’s a pre-u), so i am all ready(mentally and physically as well as the vision to ‘kap lui’) xD ya, i also dont think its a wastage of time, what’s important is where it gets you. btw, the list of accepted students for form sixth havent release yet? how long….
Lol…its not cold water…
its rather to be the truth.
Well, i duno when wil it released…
when the time u go n get ur anugerah cemerlang for m/p geografi…u wil noe then..
